We’re building a community of mission-driven care providers devoted to creating the future of women’s health research and education.

"As an OBGYN, I've seen how common and debilitating vaginal infections can be for women around the world.

As a leading researcher of the vaginal microbiome, my colleagues and I have started to uncover its role in areas beyond vaginal health — including public health challenges like STIs and HIV acquisition, infertility, preterm birth, and more.

I truly believe that Evvy's unique platform combined with the development of new therapeutics will catalyze a new era in women's health."

"[The Evvy Vaginal Health Test] is a powerful tool because it enables us to look at the entire microbial community through metagenomics and decipher how the overall composition might be affecting symptoms and infections...

Patients can also retest remotely to understand how antibiotics and other treatments impacted their vaginal microbiome.”

"As an OB-GYN, I know how frustrating it is for both patients and clinicians to lack access to effective testing and treatments.

Evvy’s new care platform is revolutionary, and I am thrilled that patients across the country will finally have access to the best in class testing, holistic treatments, and empathetic support they deserve.”

Our vaginal health platform empowers providers and patients through:

State-of-the-art testing

Our at-home vaginal health test is the first and only CLIA-certified, next generation sequencing (mNGS) vaginal microbiome test — providing clinicians with the most reliable, comprehensive answers from a single swab.

We also provide at-home STI testing through our Expanded PCR Panel add-on.

Ultra-sensitive diagnostics

Improved analytical validity over traditional methods such as microscopy, wet mount, or Amsel’s criteria — with a sensitivity and specificity in identifying the reported organisms at 97% and 93.1-99.7%, respectively.

Access to Evvy’s highly sensitive test finally allows clinicians to accurately diagnose and prescribe optimal treatment for vaginitis – even in complex cases of co-infection with overlapping symptoms.

Precision clinical care

All results include a custom plan for patients on how to improve and proactively monitor their vaginal health, science-backed education, and 1:1 coaching to ensure continuum of care.

For eligible tests, we also offer prescription treatment programs.

Which of your patients can benefit from Evvy?

1
Patients who test negative but still experience persistent symptoms

Most tests available to providers are either too broad or extremely specific.

For example, traditional wet mount and pH tests are non-specific and do not provide information on the types of bacteria present which can make it difficult for providers to make accurate diagnoses–leading to failed treatment in some cases. On the other end of the spectrum, a PCR tests for a very narrow list of microbes such as Gardnerella, E. coli, and C. albicans. As research uncovers the role of newly discovered organisms in vaginal infections, narrow PCR panels may not detect key urogenital pathogens.

If you suspect symptoms may be caused by a bacteria or fungi not identified through traditional testing, Evvy can be a helpful tool.

2
Patients with recurrent vaginitis who don’t get relief from antibiotics alone

There are many reasons why patients experience recurrent vaginitis – from the likely presence of a biofilm, to misdiagnosis (an estimated 61% of BV and 77% of yeast infection diagnoses were incorrect due to lack of accurate diagnostic tools), to poor re-colonization of the microbiome.

That is why Evvy’s Care pathways incorporate steps for both biofilm disruption and recolonization through science-backed vaginal probiotics.

At Evvy, our goal is to break the cycle of infection through better education, testing, and support.

3
Patients who need additional support to better navigate and improve their vaginal health

Evvy’s treatment programs provide tailored, easy-to-understand, and sustainable practices that will promote further healing; in addition to emotional and relational support.

Our health coaches are especially trained to help patients identify triggers that may be causing or exacerbating their symptoms to understand how to manage their conditions holistically.

Innovative, integrative, and supportive vaginal healthcare

Alongside our advisory board of leading vulvovaginal specialists, OB-GYNs  and researchers, Evvy designed and conducted an IRB-approved study to evaluate the effectiveness of our treatment programs.

Our treatment programs leverage Rx medication, research-backed supplements, curated education, and holistic support to improve vaginal health outcomes.
